Hike to the "Y"

For some odd reason, this morning in bed, JO asked me what I wanted to do today, and my response was to hike the Y. It really wasn't too bad, now that I'm in my comfortable bed at the end of the day. We started about 11 in the morning and after about the first two switch backs my head was pounding from the beating sun. When we finally got to the top, I thought I was going to die! I don't think I would have made it if I had done it right after I had my babe. Guess is just proves how out of shape I am. We took Eva in a little carrier on Jo's chest, making it her first hike ever. As we were hiking, we were talking about when Jose was a wrestler at BYU his coach used to make the wresters run to the top! RUN? I couldn't even make it going at my slowest paced walk!

Wow - you're amazing.....hiking to the Y would never be my response (ha ha). Those pictures are great - Eva is still so small, but a cutie. I love that view....who knows if I'll ever see it (ha ha)

We did that hike awhile ago...and oh boy it is harder than I remember too. I swear those switchbacks go on FOREVER!
